prposts.com - the UK public relations industrys free jobs board
for positions available and wanted has reached a multimillion
pound milestone.
By our reckoning, the salaries on offer on prposts.com as of today
come to around GBP£1.6 million combined, said PR Press Network
owner/operator Tracey Hopkin. Thats just for the job ads
that include details of the salaries on offer there are nearly
100 ads in the database and around a third do not include salary information,
but if they are in the same range as the others on offer we would guess
the total would be around the two million pound mark.
This is not the true benchmark by which we would like to measure
the sites success, says Hopkin. Although its
encouraging to see all that money out there in the marketplace! On a
day-to-day basis, however, we are simply delighted by the calibre of
both PR agencies and recruitment companies making use of prposts.com
and hope they continue to do so we know well continue to
offer prposts.com as a free platform for the PR industry.
prposts.com was launched in February this year along with partner sites
newsnext.com, an editorial forward planning service; and prfinder.com,
a dynamic directory of UK and global PR companies and websites. They
became part of the PR Press Network in May.
The PR Press Network now offers a number of additional sites and services
to the media, including ReachRadio, designed to put broadcasters in
touch with providers of radio-friendly content; SimpleScout, a free
location scouting service for filmmakers and photographers in the UK;
and AgencyWire, a free email newsletter for UK PR professionals due
to be launched in October this year.
