The PR Press Network a provider of free services and tools for
the UKs media industry has launched mediaposts.com (http://www.mediaposts.com),
a free jobs board for the UK media industry.
Like AgencyWire which we launched last month mediaposts.com
was a logical extension of our sites and services, said PR Press
Network owner/operator Tracey Hopkin. Weve seen a healthy,
steady, month-on-month increase in traffic to our other sites, much
of which comes from journalists and broadcasting professionals, so it
makes complete sense to offer them this new jobs board.
The PR Press Network already operates prposts.com (http://www.prposts.com),
a free jobs board for the UK public relations industry. Not only is
it free to use both prposts.com and mediaposts.com, explained Hopkin,
but also users are free to post to both and may see their job ads distributed
via other sites in the network, including prtalk.com (http://www.prtalk.com)
and AgencyWire (http://www.agencywire.com).
The new jobs board is the latest introduction to a range of services
that also includes newsnext.com (http://www.newsnext.com), a free editorial
forward planning tool; and ClickProfiles (http://www.clickprofiles.com),
a directory of links to newsworthy UK company profiles. The PR Press
Network also plans to launch ReachRadio (http://www.reachradio.co.uk),
a provider of radio-friendly content; and SimpleScout (http://www.simplescout.co.uk),
a one-stop location scouting service before the end of 2003, said Hopkin.
